In addition to a buy/sell marketplace, the gallery provides a showcase for Myanmar artists across a broad spectrum: 

The Gallery shows works mostly by older painters.  Kin Maung Yin, Win Pe,  Paw Thame, Maung Aw, Aung Myint, Win Pe Myint and others now in their 60s and 70s who provide an important link to the past. They knew painters like Ba Nyan,  Ba Thet, Ngwe Gaing, Kin Maung (Bank),  Paw Oo Thet and Aung Soe as teachers, friends and contemporaries. We ask them to tell us stories so this history of modern art in Burma can be available to all.
